Kempo Jujutsu is a blend of two different Japanese arts which come together, harmoniously as a beautiful and deadly art form. “Kempo” in Japanese translated as “Fistic Law” while “Jujutsu” is roughly translated as “Soft Technique.”
Nan Sho Budokan utilizes Kempo Jujutsu, as the art form for the modern day bushi. In In that sense, we utilize striking as well as ground techniques. The art forms the basis of Judo and Brazilian Jujutsu and incorporates controlling techniques, joint locks, and throws as well as strikes. This is a non-competitive art and is utilized purely for self defense.
